As a Catholic health ministry, Easter represents a time of hope. A reminder that light will overcome darkness. An invitation to bring new life to a hurting world. But this year, Easter comes during an unprecedented time for all of us. The outbreak of COVID‐19 has brought fear and worry to our communities.
In times like these, we are so thankful for the hope and healing donors and supporters like you bring through your generosity.
This season of love and resurrection is an opportunity for Christians and non‐Christian friends to share in our common call as humans to care for those facing medical crises. You bring new hope, new life and new beginnings to our neighbors in need.
Your outpouring of support in the face of COVID‐19 is truly stunning. At a time when it is easy to focus inward, you are choosing to lift up those in need, whether it’s the caregivers on the front lines, or patients desperate for healing.
As you continue to protect your loved ones during this difficult time, please know Ascension Texas is here for you.
We wish you and your family good health this Easter. Please join me and the Ascension Texas family in prayer for the sick with firm hope in a bright future.
With immense gratitude,
Sister Joanne Vasa, DC
