Planned Giving

Overview

The goal of a legacy or planned gift is to structure your charitable giving in a way that benefits you, your family, and charity. There are many ways you can make a planned gift to charity and receive immediate and lasting benefits: Wills and Living Trusts, Charitable Gift Annuities, Charitable Gift Trusts, stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, and gifts of real estate.

Leaving a Planned Gift to the Ascension Seton Foundation

If you’ve ever dreamed of making a lasting impact on your fellow Central Texans, we invite you to reach out to learn more about legacy giving. Please contact Joel Rice, Executive Director of the Ascension Seton Foundation, at joel.rice@ascension.org.

The Ascension Seton Legacy Society

The Legacy Society is made up of an extraordinary group of individuals who have provided a gift to the Ascension Seton Foundation through either their current estate plan or a structured planned gift.

If you have already made a planned gift or have included the Ascension Seton Foundation in your Will, you are already eligible to be a part of the Ascension Seton Legacy Society. If not, making a planned gift now qualifies you.

Benefits of joining:

  • Inclusion on the Ascension Seton Foundation planned giving webpage
  • Opportunity to share your planned giving story to inspire others
  • Special recognition on the Donor Wall at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin (ASMCA) or Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas at Austin
  • Invitation to an annual event with ASMCA and/or Dell Seton leadership
