Join Our Volunteer Family!
When you join the team of Seton Volunteers, you’re not just joining a group – you’re becoming part of our Ascension Seton family! Our volunteers are a diverse group of dedicated people with a heart to serve others. When you walk through the front doors of a Seton hospital, one of our volunteers is likely the first person you’ll see. Teachers, grandparents, college students, former nurses and therapists, bankers, business owners, empty nesters, retirees and more – our volunteers come from different backgrounds, but they are united by their compassionate spirits. Each person carries a unique set of life skills and experiences that bring warmth and kindness to our families, patients, and visitors.
Contagious smiles, comforting presences, huge hearts – our volunteers make each Seton hospital feel like home. If you have a servant heart and desire to bring compassion to your community, the Seton volunteer program is the place for you!

“Thank you for your selfless gift of time. Each of you helps in ways you may never realize. You brighten the days of patient, visitors, and staff. You are there to offer help, answer questions, or provide a much needed smile. You are a vital part of Seton!” Missy, Imaging Manager
“Thank you for being that social piece of Project Search. I think of you as teachers, helping to engage our Project Search interns in the day-to-day conversations that people have in the community and business world. The interns learn to make eye contact, greet our visitors and patients, say ‘good morning’ or ‘hello’, things that do not come naturally for them. Thank you for taking the time to teach them.” Cindy, Project Search Job Coach
“Thanks for all you do for the patients and employees. Your hard work, smiles and encouragement mean so much!” Nuclear Med/MRI
“Thank you for all you do to give patients confidence that they’ve come to the right place and that we will take good care of them. You are an important part of the patient experience and what we do. Thank you for all you do!” Margaret Butler, former VP COO
“Thank you for always being so kind and treating our patients like family. You are awesome!” Erica, Ultrasound
