We are thankful for all of the outreach we have received asking how you can support our healthcare ministry during this unprecedented time. Ascension Texas, which includes Ascension Providence, Ascension Seton, Dell Children’s and Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas, is now accepting in-kind donations through our Foundations for supplies, including personal protective equipment (PPE), technology for families, caregiver support and child life wish lists. You can also support our community through our COVID-19 Response Funds. Please find more detailed descriptions below to learn how you can donate.
Individuals or companies interested in making a donation should complete the appropriate form below with as much detail as possible. Thank you for your patience as we process these requests. Once the donation is confirmed, someone will be in touch with you to follow up.
Supplies / Personal Protective Equipment Donation
Thank you for your willingness to donate personal protective equipment (PPE) to an Ascension site of care. We are truly grateful to see the community coming together for support. Before we accept your donation, we need to make sure it is a supply that we can utilize within the healthcare setting. Please complete the form linked below. After we have reviewed and approved, we will follow up to provide logistical details such as drop-off location. We appreciate you thinking of our healthcare professionals during this unprecedented time.
Supplies being requested for donation at this time:
- Isolation Gowns
- Earloop or Tie Masks
- N95 Respirators
- Hand Sanitizers
- Face Shields
- Surface disinfectants
- Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR)
- Controlled Air Purifying Respirators (CAPR)
- Other approved PPE supplies advised by the CDC
Please, do not drop-off PPE donations at Ascension Texas facilities. We will work directly with individuals and companies to assess each donation. Ascension Texas is now accepting mask donations that are handmade (e.g., sewn face masks). According to the CDC, handmade cloth masks may not provide equivalent protection as approved PPE; therefore, all patient-facing hospital staff must wear approved PPE. Handmade masks will be provided to staff for use outside of the healthcare setting, their families and others that may not have access to alternative masking resources. To provide our doctors, nurses and care teams with the appropriate protection, Ascension Texas is currently in need of elastic (sizes ¼ and ⅜ inch) to enhance our current supply of N95 masks.
Ascension Texas is following the updated CDC guidelines regarding suspected and confirmed COVID-19 cases and the use of PPE. The safety of our patients, associates and providers is our utmost priority as we all work to slow the transmission of COVID-19 and care for all those in need.
To continue to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission and further protect our patients and caregivers, Ascension currently has a no visitor policy in our facilities. We recognize this is a significant challenge for patients and their families. We encourage virtual visitations and are working to make technology more accessible. To date, Ascension Seton has received more than 180 iPad donations which are rapidly being disinfected and repurposed to provide medical staff and patients a safe and efficient way to communicate electronically. We anticipate an ongoing and increasing need to support patient and family communication and are seeking additional donations of the following items:
- iPad generation 5 or later
- OtterBox® durable cases for iPad version 5 or later
- iPad cords and charging devices
- USB webcams
If you are able to donate, please email email@example.com to share more information, including:
- Your name
- Whether you are an individual or represent an organization interested in donating (and if an organization, the name of that organization)
- Your contact information

We will be back in touch with you. Thank you.
